Best Steak Restaurants in Sunbury-On-Thames

This was our third visit to restaurant, and we had an excellent meal, with good service and staff are really friendly and helpful. Will return again and If you want to go would recommend you reserve a table

Had a really nice time, me and my partner came for dinner for my birthday. Service was great, all staff members we interacted with were professional, kind and welcoming. Food was good! Steak cooked well (medium), chips and lemon salad was great. But we wasn’t a fan of the heritage salad. Lychee martini was fabulous. Only point I would like to say is that we booked for 8pm and there was young children running around. I understand it’s a part of a hotel & I also have young children that I left at home. But the staff should maybe sit large groups/children in an area away from intimate diners.

This was my third visit to Nova. I had so much fun for my birthday last year that I thought to come again to celebrate with my friends but this time in the outdoor area. The outdoor area was a bit cold at first and not as exquisitely decorated as the main restaurant but it’s definitely a better place for dancing. DJ MIDI is superb and plays Arabic/Afro/Latin/RnB etc. The food came out very fast at the beginning and the waiter was very attentive to the allergy but towards the end I think he must have got a headache or something as drinks service was very slow. Food was good quality and tasty. I think £35 for a bottle of non-alcoholic fizz is a bit excessive and it’s a shame the main restaurant area was so empty. I think perhaps only having the minimum £60 spend in the shisha lounge might be better and attract people to come and enjoy the main restaurant area.

We had an absolutely amazing experience for a special occasion—our friend’s wedding celebration. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The service stood out the most—our waiter went above and beyond, taking the time to show us different steak cuts and sharing his incredible knowledge of the menu. His attention to detail made the dining experience even more special. The host was equally fantastic—so warm, friendly, and engaged, making us feel truly welcome. The food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was perfect for a celebration. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, making this a experience to remember. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Walked into an empty restaurant with no staff on hand to receive us. Went to the bar to advise we had a table reserved to be told ok take a seat. Sat there for 5/10 minutes before we went back to bar to order drinks. Then told sorry can only serve water as waiting for bar tender to arrive. Eventually the drinks order came but they didn’t have any Sauvignon blanc as requested and forgot one of the cokes. After this was resolved the food service was much better than our initial experience. Food was wonderful. Shame about the beginning.
