Best Indian Restaurants in Waltham Abbey

The food was very tasty and the quality of the food was excellent. Service was a little slow at first but very nice staff.

First time visitor. Lovely place. Really nice vibe, great staff. Very impressed with the quality of the food. The premium quality shines through in the flavours.

Lovely venue, although in the middle of no where in my opinion. Service was good as we had early booking. Starters was delicious, the venison kebab, the quails egg I would have preferred it to be a bit runnier in the middle when you cut into it. The sauce was great and good amount just right for the amount. The mix grill was a disappointment due to the small portion size, there was not enough flavour to this dish. The prawn purée was nice, please serve in a flat plate as it will be easier to eat than the round bowl we had it served in. Ambience was nice. Mains were ok the meat dish was not spicy enough as per details on the menu, the dhansak was lovely, the peshwari naan was yummy. The duck dish would be better to be cooked to one’s tastebud, I would have preferred this a little less cooked. Dessert- we didn’t enjoy in the way it was described on the menu, however the cake for the birthday was nice along with the other complimentary little pot we had. Food was excellent as always, and great service. It is pricey but also servings are huge - I’d happily reduce both by 25% and still walk away full instead of wasting anything.
