Best American Restaurants in Stanmore

Visited for a meal last night and received great service from Neila. She was really sweet and funny. She took great care of us and gave us great recommendations. The food was nice, and the portions were filling. The vibe was perfect with the live music. Will definitely be back again.

Had a fantastic meal at Chet’s, a Thai-Americana gem in Shepherd’s Bush that blends the bold, smoky flavors of Southeast Asia with the nostalgic comforts of a classic American diner. I went for the BBQ Rice Bowl with Grilled Aubergine (£12)—a deliciously smoky, well-balanced dish that really hit the spot. My friend had the Tuna Melt (£16), and wow, this wasn’t your standard sandwich! The tuna larb filling, packed with mint, coriander, red onion, and Kewpie mayo, was next-level. Add melted American cheese and a crispy, golden bread exterior, and it’s easily one of the best tuna melts I’ve tried. The coffee was great, rounding out the meal nicely, though I wasn’t the biggest fan of the crisps on the side—just a personal preference. Overall, a fantastic spot with unique flavors, a cool vibe, and well-executed dishes. Would I return? Absolutely.

It was a very nice and pleasant experience with authentic Mexican food and atmosphere

We booked brunch on Bank Holiday Monday and were delighted to find that the restaurant was a small independent business with lots of staff and a great family atmosphere. The service was friendly and they even made me an espresso martini that wasn’t on the menu. Food was all prepared to order and was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It’s small but has both an upstairs and an outside dinning area. A great find 🥰❤️🥰❤️
