We have visited this restaurant many times for family celebrations and other events. The food is always exceptional, matched by friendly , courteous, informative and helpful staff. Good wine list and lovely decor , I can never find fault with anything here . I would highly recommend Smiths, it’s not cheap but this restaurant is a great example of you get what you pay, all round great place for excellent fish and seafood.

Literally have zero faults with Blacklock. I’ve been coming here for years and I will continue to do so. Food, drink, service - all are phenomenal. It’s amazing that you can get so much good food at fairly reasonable prices that comes with some of the best service you’ll experience. 1000% coming back for more rounds of the All In and Cheesecake!

Ahhh you lovely Hawsmoor folks, you still maintain a really high standard. There's plenty of competition around these days but my heart is with you. The service was friendly, attentive and personable. You didn't constantly refill my wine glass, pushing wine hard happens in virtually every restaurant these days, I hate it. Great location, perfectly good enough service, but not spectacular, food was good but for the second visit to coal shed in a row… no fillet steaks available 😢 Would definitely go back but would be hoping for just a little better next time.
