Ahhh you lovely Hawsmoor folks, you still maintain a really high standard. There's plenty of competition around these days but my heart is with you. The service was friendly, attentive and personable. You didn't constantly refill my wine glass, pushing wine hard happens in virtually every restaurant these days, I hate it. They seemed under staffed when we arrived and it took 30mins just take our drinks order. There was one experienced waitress and one other that appeared to be a trainee for the entire top section - which was full. Also we were celebrating a birthday and this was completely overlooked and not acknowledged despite stating the occasion at the point of booking. I have been here a few times now and this has never happened before so I do hope it’s a one-off because the food is delicious.
