Lovely bright space, great friendly service, thoroughly enjoyed

Went for the Sunday Lunch. A three course meal with starters of Asian Cauliflower wings which were absolutely delicious and Pork bon bins which were also delicious. We both had the roast beef and a side portion of cauliflower cheese. Our food was served hot and a generous portion of meat came with plenty of roast potatoes, a large tasty yorkshire pudding and roasted veg. A separate jug of gravy which was so rich and tasty and again red hot. Although full we made room for the Eton mess which was a larger portion than expected but very very nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

We booked in as staying in the hotel, we booked for 5.30pm We was sat down efficiently. Waitress and waiter was very helpful with how the menu worked and let us know if there was anything unavailable. Drinks arrived quickly. We ordered some small plates too share, mac and cheese croquet, fish goujons and sticky ribs they where amazing. All freshly prepared. Then for mains we ordered the pork belly noodles, burger, steak and fish and chips again all incredible. Chef came out to speak to us to make sure food was all good, this was great as we was out with parents so they really liked this touch to the service. Had a chat about our evening as we was watching peter kay. Couldn't fault the service or staff and we all really enjoyed the food. We would highley recommend.

The kitchen closes by 8pm so I was really hungry. But I enjoyed my drinks so I would be back again.
