Best French Restaurants in Petts Wood

Been here a few times and each time think it’s a bit disappointing. It could be a great restaurant but I think the chef or owner is trying too hard to be Gordon Ramsay or Tom Kerridge. Too few staff to handle the tables. Our young waitress was great but had too many tables to serve so we waited for drinks. Our meals came at different times and extras were forgotten. They were out of the Sirloin on the bone and suckling pig. It was only 8 O’clock so that’s poor. I ordered Fillet but I’m pretty sure it was sirloin I was given. I don’t send food back as I’m worried what will be done to my new dish so I commented and left it at that. We were given a couple of drinks so we were satisfied with that. I really wish they’d concentrate on the basics of good food without the dishes served on tiles and other nonsense. Get an extra waiter in and make sure orders are served together, without forgetting the extras ordered.

We had an amazing time at 14 Hills, we were celebrating my birthday and we dined from the brunch menu and it was a fabulous dining experience. The food was excellent quality, service was professional and timely and the cocktails unrivalled. The experience was enhanced by the wonderful ambiance with lush foliage and breathtaking views of London.

Delicious food, great atmosphere and efficient service. Really enjoyed the experience.

Really enjoyable pre-fireworks meal. I had steak and crepes while my daughter had french onion soup and grilled chicken … and shared the banana crepe. We were looked after well by the warm and friendly team and our meal was delicious!

Great, courteous service and thoroughly delicious food. Highly recommend.
