Best Brunch Restaurants in Hockessin

I’ve been going to this restaurant since the late 90s off and on and it’s always been a wonderful experience and tonight proved the same and I am so thrilled that they still exist and that they are a true staple anytime I stay at Montchanin. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Columbus Inn is the best choice for brunch in this area. Excellent food and service and moderate prices. The only criticism I have is that when there is a large group, and there often is, the noise level is really loud. This is Moore the fault of guests who seem to need to out show each other. But if you go at 10 AM, you can generally Have a quiet table and a very nice meal indeed.

The Mendenhall Inn did a great job of making a Valentine's Day dinner very enjoyable. We were seated at the time of our reservation, our waitress was very attentive. Our wine and bread and butter arrived quickly, followed by our first course ( French Onion soup of broth of us) within 10 minutes. Even though the restaurant had a slightly limited holiday menu, there were plenty of good choices. We had roasted duckling and the crab stuffed shrimp. both were served with mashed potatoes and French green beans. Everything was delicious and served at a very good pace. We were surprised at how efficient the service was consider the at full capacity dining room on a holiday evening. We skipped dessert because we were so full from the generous portions ( the outstanding French Onion soup with tons of cheese is very filling). It was a delightful evening in a welcoming, comfortable high end restaurant. top notch, its is worth the drive to get to Mendenhall ! A great place for special occasion or date night dining.

A lovely experience tonight at this brand new restaurant. Delicious hot home made bread. Branzino w/ a mediterranean salad and a huge bowl on the side of creamy risotto. Great caesar salad with homemade dressing and a crunch of corn thrown in!

Deerfield does not disappoint. Our family tradition of Brunch with Santa continued this year. The food was delicious, the service was spot on. They were both attentive without being overbearing. Thank you for giving the opportunity to keep a treasured transition going!
