- AAmyVIPAsheville / Western North Carolina •21 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe loved our experience at State of Confusion. If you are a fan of New Orleans cuisine, then it would be right up your alley. We shared the Gator Gumbo as an app and it’s a huge bowl with a thick rich base. It was delicious. Then I had the Muffaletta with confusion potatoes and my husband had the Bologna sandwich with red beans and rice. The muffaletta was huge and I had to take half home. It was really good. My husband thought mine was good too but thought his bologna sandwich was just ok. He said it reminded him of a sandwich you would get at Arby’s the way they thin sliced the meat. We both agreed we will definitely be back but he would try something else. Our server was really nice and attentive and it seemed like everyone was pitching in to help on a busy night. I loved the atmosphere - it was lively but not too loud. All in all, great experience!More infoState of Confusion- CharlottePrice: Moderate• American• South Charlotte•4.5

Food and service was 5/5. Nothing took too long to come. Good vibes. Crowd 35-45ish. Grown.More infoMarquee CharlottePrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Charlotte•4.6
- HHoneyVIPCharlotte •86 reviews5.0Dined on 1 Feb 2025Tacos are great and flavorful, however, they are small and at $5 a pop they aren’t inexpensive. Chips and salsa are served and are also really good but the chips are excessively greasy. If you want more salsa it’s a $1 more which seems ridiculous. Guac was good but served in a paper boat which did not hold up well. It should be served in a bowl like the amazing elote. Also love the Jamaica agua Fresca.More infoMaiz Agua SalPrice: Moderate• Mexican• Charlotte•4.8
