- JJessicavipHouston •13 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoLeo’s River Oaks offers an upscale dining experience with a stunning ambiance that immediately sets the tone for a special evening. The service was attentive and professional, enhancing the overall experience. We began with the bread and butter service, followed by scallops, a few items from the raw bar, and a Caesar salad. The salad was a standout, perfectly balanced and delicious. For our main courses, we shared the ribeye and filet mignon. Both steaks were cooked to perfection, but they leaned slightly on the salty side, which detracted from their otherwise excellent preparation. The sides, however, were exceptional—the Brussels sprouts and potatoes dauphinoise were flavorful and elevated the meal. Leo’s extensive wine selection is impressive, particularly their offerings of Cabernet by the glass, which paired beautifully with the meal. Cocktails were prepared perfectly, as well. While we had high expectations for Leo’s, the overall experience was still good. The restaurant delivers in many areas, but with a few adjustments, it has the potential to exceed expectations.More infoLeo's River OaksPrice: Very Expensive• American• River Oaks•4.7

She made great recommendations. The devil eggs and crab dip appetizers were both on point. My husband had spaghetti. He loved it! I had the lobster roll. It was ok. The serving size was good, but it could use a bit more flavor, so I added some of the crab dip to it. Michael, the GM, was nice as well. Love the weekday happy hour. I'll certainly be back to experience more menu items.More infoRelish Restaurant and BarPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• River Oaks•4.8
- SShilpiHouston •6 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoSat outdoors on the patio and had a lovely meal. Food was excellent, service was wonderful, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. The only thing that soured my experience was the parking garage. I used the self parking retail garage at Autry Park Garage. When exiting, the machine did not register my credit card. I called the operator/attendant so I could just pay by credit card verbally and instead of taking my credit card number, he asked for personal details. He started out with reasonable questions like my name and license plate and vehicle make and model. But why on earth would he ask my email address and my home address? When I told him I did not feel comfortable giving that information to a stranger, he told me that I was ”not cooperating” and hung up on me without opening the gate. Now, without opening the gate, where was I to go but remain in the garage against my will? This person abused his position to attempt to gain access to my home, and the company who hired him should be aware that it is inappropriate to ask customers where they live when they just want to pay for their parking. I know this restaurant has nothing to do with the parking company, but perhaps they could pass along the feedback to Sovereign because these “practices” could impact future customers as well. I love that the cauliflower is always on the menu and most of the dishes change every couple of months, always something new and fabulous to try. Happy hour prices are fantastic for wine, perfect location for before a show.More infoRoost HoustonPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Montrose•4.8
