Best Latin American Restaurants in Carmel Valley

Food was good and drinks were great. I wish I knew the bar back’s name that assisted at the bar where we sat. He was very helpful and attentive to my wife and I throughout our visit. The Cadillac Margarita was good, however I think it’s a little over priced. That would be my only issue.

I am gluten free and they did a wonderful job even when dealing with a prefixed menu. Very good experience.

The food was outstanding. I had the carne asada plate that was marinated nicely with flour tortillas, black beans, and rice. My husband had the shrimp skewers with rice that was very tasty too. We were impressed by the quality of the food. It’s a must try!

Excellent food and service. They used to be almost exclusively tacos, but they have now added some other items like burritos and enchiladas. All of the flavors are unique and delicious. I especially love the crispy cheese layer on a lot of the tacos. I wish they had more chicken tacos. My favorite taco now is the chicken al pastor. They have had a couple of chicken ones (even one just recently) and they were delicious.

We had a great meal there this week. The jalapeño chicken soup with amazing as the soup of the day and should be on the menu!! Also had the lobster ravioli and the Mexto seafood dish that were both very good. We will be returning to check out more.
