Best Comfort Food Restaurants in Arvada

Excellent food taste and portion size. Tried it because it was on DDD, did not disappoint. Patio was a bit crowded. Wait staff was a bit slow, but the managers were walking around filling drinks and just very pleasant. After advising waiter we had to catch a plane, the service times seemed to pick-up. Would definitely return.

Food was good but not great. The French fries were listed as salted and seasoned and appeared to be frozen crinkle cut fries with no salt or seasoning at all. Apps were very good. Polenta fries, bacon wrapped dates and deviled eggs. Service started off to be not great but got better as our dinner progressed The burger was okay but nothing special in any manner. The other dishes we had , gnocchi, short ribs and cassoulet were better. We were seated outside in the tent and the temperature varied greatly from comfortable to cold throughout our meal.

The appetizers are amazing, the beer is cold and the food is delicious! Never had a bad meal here

Being seated next to the fireplace in the main dining room on a cold, snowy day is always enjoyable. West 29th reminds so much of cozy country inns in Europe. Adan and the remainder of the small wait staff were delightful, attentive and responsive, even when things got busy. They covered for each other very well. Unlike the other times we have dined there, the food was not outstanding. The Caesar Salad was very mildly seasoned, without that little garlicky kick we've come to expect. We did appreciate that the kitchen split it for usl The salmon was cooked well-done as my spouse prefers and the smally potatoes, that accompanied it, actually tasted sweet. Unfortunately, the Gorgonzola Beef Stroganoff was a flop for me. The dish I"ve enjoyed so many times is supposed to be a dish with tender pieces of meat, accompanied by noodles in a flavorful sauce...NOT a pasta dish in a creamy cheese sauce with half a dozen little chunks of tough beef, hidden under the noodles. Maybe the plentiful and very tasty mushrooms were suppose to make up for the lack and toughness of the meat, but that didn't work for me First really disappointing dish we've had there. We'll surely return, but will more wary when ordering.

Great food. Incredibly loud and conversation was nearly impossible. I’d go back but at a quieter time!
