- SSharynSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined on 3 Mar 2025Two friends and I had a leisurely lunch at Alley & Vine. We ordered ordered herbal tea, but they were out, so I asked for just hot water, which came with lemon and a cute little jar of honey which was just as satisfying as tea. My friend and I ordered a beet salad which we split. The salad had gold beets, pomegranate seeds, pecans, and something I can't identify that was crunchy and delicious, and lots of greens with just enough of a citrus vinaigrette dressing. I ordered the fish tacos which were small tortillas stuffed with fried breaded fish, veggies, and a delicious sauce. The tacos were accompanied by a large helping of black beans, half of an avocado and sour cream. My friend ordered the burger "with all the fixins" that was cooked exactly the way he requested with a generous portion of fries, My other friend ordered the scrambled eggs and lox that was accompanied by friend potatoes. The serving was so large, she took half of it home. For dessert, we shared a scoop of caramel, balsamic gelato that included two crisp triangular butter cookies. The restaurant was quiet with other customers seated a comfortable distance between tables. Although it was the middle of lunch time, parking was easy. We really enjoyed everything about our lunch at Alley & Vine.More infoAlley & VinePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Alameda•4.2
