Great experience. Came for my birthday with my parents. They loved it so much, they didn’t have leftovers. The service was superb as was the food. Highly recommend

My shrimp and linguine meal was excellent. The server was attentive and the price was typical for New Haven. My son had the baked chicken and enjoyed it.

Great restaurant, location, views, ambiance, service and food. Looking forward to going back soon. Everything was delicious and fresh and sticky toffee pudding was out of this world.

The ambient soundtrack, not heavy metal or rap but I caught Jon Bon Jovi in ther, tells you something about this restaurant’s schizophrenic identity. The menu is almost excessively wide-ranging, from wings to lobster, in an sattempt to appeal to all comers, yet the prices invite a somewhat higher-incomed clientele. The interior is hardscaped, with no sound-absorbing fabric in sight(except the napkins) amidst the poured flooring, floor-to-ceiling windows and granite tabletops. The service was accomodating but slow at obvious transition points in the progression of the meal. Our order: appetizer of calamari was plentiful, oddly(for me) sprinkled with gorgonzola and drizzled with balsamic but delicious; an ahi tuna salad ( beautifully presented) and a clam and bacon flatbread that seemed a bit overdone/crispy. Two proseccos, a glass of pinot grigio and a bill of $120…. I want to try this location on a summer evening when there’s outdoor dining and enough light to enjoy the harborviews. Otherwise, it is not a top choice in several categories

Chuck’s Steak house was a great dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious and the value for the quality was outstanding!!! The owner is very friendly as well as the staff. My husband and I are looking forward to returning. Actually I can’t wait!
