Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Portland

We absolutely loved the table upstairs in a very private setting with beautiful views! Perfect for celebrating a birthday. I shared scallops, wedge salad, baked potato & also tried the calamari & crab ceviche appetizers. Everything was very good, but by the time I got to my potato, it was cold. Also, one of the entrees was put in wrong & she had to wait for her filet to be cooked while everyone else ate. The mgr. compensated by taking 30% off which totally took care of the food delay. They also brought a huge, beautiful piece of their chocolate cake desert with whipped cream, berries & cookie pieces! Delicious!

Really interesting menu and all dishes were very good. The amuse bouche with paired shot was really delicious, unique and fun.

Caesar salad was small and only had green leaves so no crispness. Had the Brown and Duck Breast all were good but noting to write home about. Very beautiful dining room and the staff was very pleasant.

Outstanding buffet selections as always, and Johnnie makes the BEST omelets on the planet!BEST BEST BEST service by Kat, she always shines!

We attended a special, Jefferson Reserve Bourbon event. The food was delicious that was paired with the bourbon. Service was spot on, attentive and prompt. Looking forward to the next event.
