- PPatrickVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •13 reviews5.0Dined todayIt was my first visit for dinner, after having had brunch once. We found the small plates, entrees and everything to be outstanding. The service was excellent as well. They did a very creative remodel of the former movie theater lobby space to create this two-level restaurant. It is on the pricey side, but definitely worth visiting.More infoEos & NyxPrice: Expensive• Californian• San Jose•4.5
- AAmirVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •72 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI'm a fan of this restaurant. Food is always consistently excellent. The cocktails are great and they can make a special one for you if you describe your likes. Very good wine list, too. Service is always solid, very friendly and they work as a team to ensure a good experience. We enjoy everything on the menu. Our top favorites: sesame pancakes w/ smoked fish, charred snap peas, charred cabbage, sashimi over rice, fish katsu, and the steak. And of course, dessert, we love the caramel choc. tart. Menu changes seasonally, the main ingredient may continue on the menu but the sauces and sides will be different, pending what's in season. We look forward to returning soon.More infoEthel's FancyPrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Palo Alto•4.9
- SSarahSan Francisco Bay Area •14 reviews5.0Dined on 1 Mar 2025We had the 4-course tasting menu, and it was fantastic! The meal left us full and satisfied. The cocktails—Project G, Cosmopolitan, and Calm Seas—were phenomenal, with smooth textures, great mouthfeel, and complex flavors. The service was exceptional and truly elevated the experience! We enjoyed the Kona Kanpachi Crudo, Lobster Ravioli with Black Truffle, Basque Cheesecake, and Paris-Brest. Already looking forward to our next visit to The Plumed Horse!More infoThe Plumed HorsePrice: Very Expensive• Californian• Saratoga•4.5
- CChristineVIPDenver / Colorado •8 reviews5.0Dined on 19 Feb 2025We booked a large group meeting (20 people) that grew to 28 people. The team handled the change quickly and we never really had any delays. I felt bad that the server didn't have much help but she did a great job and I really appreciated her hard work. Food was good as always, especially the steak skewers appetizers. Many got the large steak and said it was so good. Thanks for allowing us to have our group dinner there - we had a great time and look forward to the next time!More infoLa FontanaPrice: Moderate• Californian• Santa Clara•4.1
