The service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. Our server, Chris, did an amazing job and we never felt rushed, he answered all of our questions and made suggestions as well. I thought the food would be good but it was amazing. I’ll definitely recommend this place to others and return again. Oh! And the cocktails were amazing as well. Had some new flavors I hadn’t tried before in drinks and loved them. Cheesecake was amazing.More infoSunda New Asian - TampaPrice: Expensive• Asian• Tampa•4.8

I started off by running a little late, afraid that my reservation would be canceled. When I called the restaurant to advise of my late arrival. The manager informed me that he would mark me down as coming in late and told me to take my time. I appreciated the fact that there was no rush and that I could still enjoy my evening without worrying about my reservation being canceled. It was already a stressful day and evening and arriving late and missing my reservation would’ve ruined my night. I appreciate the staff being so nice and understanding. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. The food was amazing. That atmosphere was wonderful and calm and the service was exceptional.More infoJackson's Bistro Bar & SushiPrice: Expensive• American• Tampa•4.5
- PPhilipJacksonville / Northeast Florida •4 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoA fun very busy place on Valentines day. Staff are quite friendly and make an effort to make sure your meal is perfect. If you have an allergy, or sensitivity they can accomodate you. Chose the steak and shrimp combo, my son had the chicken, shrimp and steak option. He would pick chicken and shrimp the next time, or upgrade for $8 to the filet. My wife enjoyed the scallops and shrimp. Popular place in Tampa several locations are available within a 20 mile radius. A single protein like chicken was very affordable. Lots of younger student couples took home a box for a second meal. Noodles, rice, along with chicken was around $30 each I believe, if you drink just water. A decent cocktail list is available, we tried the red sangria and the kobe breeze. Quite refreshing. Our three person total with the 18% mandatory tip was just over $200. We ate very well and chose more expensive options. We would go again.More infoKobe Japanese Steakhouse - Bruce B DownsPrice: Moderate• Japanese• New Tampa•4.6
- GGardaVIPTampa / Central Florida West •20 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoPlease keep in mind we went on a Monday night to celebrate our anniversary so the noise level was low and the service exemplary. That said they seem to have enough staff that if it was a busy night they could cope well. The food was amazing, we are not sushi eaters however there were plenty of other choices. We chose four hot tasting dishes, the cucumber plate and shared a main course dish of the Bulgogi. My husband, who can be quite a picky eater enjoyed every dish whish is unusual for him. Seriously the food was delicious. I had the Rojito for a cocktail, it is the Ro spin on the Mojito and was fabulous. They had a decent wine menu and I happily indulged in a couple of glasses. Two interesting things, and neither a deal breaker, they were out of all but two beer selections (it was Monday after a busy weekend so not unusual) and there were no dessert offerings. Apparently dessert is offered by their sister restaurant, the speakeasy next door, and it is only open certain nights of the week. Again, neither were a deal breaker. They did bring a small complimentary dessert to the table which seems to be the norm for non dessert offering nights. If you haven't tried Ro yet then you should. Please note it isn't cheap however a good restaurant isn't and shouldn't be if you value interesting food, drinks and service. I feel it was worth every dime and we enjoyed our Anniversary celebration.More infoRoPrice: Expensive• American• Tampa•4.6

They brought water and we were able to order appetizers to hold us until the last person showed up. The food was really good. Sushi was great. Bento box was great.
