Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Tuscaloosa

It was a good 1st experience. My streak was ordered medium well. It ranged from medium rare to well. Very unevenly cooked, but I was about to eat most of it. Our waitress was good and polite. It was our anniversary, so they gave up some cheesecake bites on the house. It was VERY delicious and appreciated. We will try it again because overall it was good. I'm looking forward to trying other menu items.

Our appetizer dinners were delicious. Our server, Carlos, was excellent, attentive without being intrusive. The staff even called to offer us a table that became available, which was more comfortable than the bar. We took the opening at the bar, but asked for a change if a table became available. Bistro V is consistently good.

Arrived approximately 10 min before reservation and we were seated immediately. Hostess was nice and cheerful. We were seated in an "outside" veranda area that was quite nice. A young man named Alex was out server and he was great. Handled a n y request and catered to us with a smile. If you're at the Birmingham location, find yourself lucky to get Alex as your server. The food was cooked to our liking and with a perfect temperature. The food we couldn't finish, Alex happily boxed and bagged to go. Would recommend anyone going, and would not hesitate to go back!!

Menu was set for Valentine's Day (choice of 3 starters, 3 entrees, and 3 desserts) at a set price. Everything was great, would like to explore the full menu at next visit.

My first time to go to Daniel George and I was happily surprised. It was a late lunch on Valentines Day and I fully expected to pay a premium price for a meal, but the price was standard and very reasonable. The food was excellent particularly the fried oysters. The service was attentive and polite. The restaurant and bar are very attractive. I will be back!
