Best Restaurants for Special Occasions in Wynantskill

Jesse was great waiter and helped to make it a perfect Valentine’s dinner. Food superb as always. Loved the featured Cabernet. My only negative had not at all to do with this lovely restaurant, but with several of the customers. It was a Saturday evening on a festive weekend in a very upscale elegant restaurant. We were shocked to see way too many customers, who paid a pretty penny for meals, wearing well-worn sweatshirts with distressed jeans and sneakers. They looked like they were going on a picnic. Customers of ALL ages!

Im really not one to write reviews for anything as most unfortunatly are. For my girlfriend and my first time going to Black&Blue from waiting for our table to paying the bill her and I agreed it was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Both steaks were cooked beautifully and were still nice and warm when arrived to the table. We tried the nights special lobster mac&cheese and was pleasantly surprised how great it all was! Cheese was not too heavy, noodles were great and the lobster was amazing! Prices weren’t even as bad as we anticipated! A lovely night at Black&Blue on February 14th Valentines day :)

Overall the experience was good. The main server was excellent but the food delivery staff could use a better understanding of what they were delivering when a diner asks questions. Could also benefit from the bus staff and hostess to fill water the glass are dark and I think hard for staff to tell when water levels are low. The menu had a lot of nice options but the dishes felt incomplete. Enjoyable experience overall but might order differently the next time.

Best cowboy steak ever! It seems like it is slowly slowly cooked and it’s not salty at taste!! Perfect taste and sides. Extremely pricey restaurant for a good reason. Highly recommend this Albany 677 Prime Restaurant.

Always a great meal in this unique setting. An Albany landmark.
