- CEChristopherEvipOrlando / Central Florida East •5 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe 7 course tasting menu was excellent. Since it was a Monday night I got to sit at one of six seats overlooking the line. The chef plated, presented and described each course. It was a true delight.More infoThe Chef and IPrice: Expensive• Regional American (Contemporary Southern)• Music Row•4.6

The bottomless mimosas were delicious and potent! The DJ plays great music. Have another trip planned in December with a different group of friends and will be returning!More infoSupper Club on BelcourtPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Belmont / Hillsboro•4.4
- JJessicaNashville •1 review5.0Dined 7 days agoLocated in downtown Nashville, Deacon’s New South offers a refined yet welcoming atmosphere. From the start, the service was exceptional—attentive, professional, and eager to ensure we had a great experience. We began with delicious cornbread and an inventive charcuterie board. While the board wasn’t traditional, it offered bold, interesting flavors that made for a fun start to the meal. For the main course, I chose the petite filet, which was cooked perfectly—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. My dining companion selected the prime rib, but it was underwhelming. While tender, it lacked the depth and seasoning needed to elevate it, and a better brine would have helped. Another group member had the wedge salad with steak, which she found absolutely delicious—the steak was flavorful and paired beautifully with the crisp salad. One of us also opted for a chicken dish, but it didn’t stand out. While well-seasoned, it lacked the richness of the other dishes, making it the least memorable part of the meal. The ambiance at Deacon’s is upscale yet comfortable, with soft lighting and an open kitchen. Overall, the service, cornbread, and filet were highlights, while the prime rib and chicken left something to be desired. Deacon’s is definitely worth a visit, especially if you’re a steak lover. I’ll be back, but next time I’ll stick with the filet and try the wedge salad with steak!More infoDeacon's New SouthPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.5
