Best Contemporary Indian Restaurants in Long Branch

Bhuna gosht was delicious, dahi kebab was okay and galouti was really bad, stretchy and chewy is something a galouti should never be. It's name suggests otherwise. The breads were decent. Overall, Main curry was the only saving grace in terms of taste and quality of food. The ambience is good, and the serving staff were helpful.

Great food. The restaurant is brightly lit. Great interiors. Slightly noisy which I personally didn’t mind. The rani kachori and tandoori grilled prawns were the best. Tadka daal was also very good. The Awadhi lamb shank was cooked well as was the dak bungalow mutton curry. However, the chicken biryani was very disappointing with very underwhelming flavors. Overall great experience and good to go in small groups as most items are shareable.

Three of us went for dinner before attending the theatre. We shared 2 entrees and 2 bowls of rice and had plenty of food. The only reason I didn’t give a full 5 star rating was because they had run out of Kingfisher Beer which was advertised in large signs outside the restaurant . We will return and sample other dishes, this time we had Butter Chicken and Basa fish curry.

We had a great dining experience at Carnival. Service was really awesome. Live music added best vibe for dining. Food quality and taste was same you would have in India. Highly recommended.

The chef was very meticulous in preparing the dishes and came to speak to us on several occasions! He was very good in explaining the various dishes w excellent recommendations. The presentation and taste of all the dishes were beautiful and beyond expectations!
