Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Rathmines

My second time to Dunmore. Staff very welcoming and attentive. Had the Fish Pie. I would have liked to have more fish in the pie as felt whereas it was very tasty it was more potatoes.

Overall, the dinner was lovely. The interior is beautiful and gives a great first impression. The food was gorgeous, pricey but you pay not only for food but also ambiance so I absolutely don't mind! However, the only downside was the service. On a quiet day, there is absolutely no reason to put the only two tables right beside each other, it was rather awkward. One situation that left quite a bad taste in my mouth was when the staff argued about an order. It was a genuine mistake - I ordered a lamb bao, and received a lobster one. Completely different but I had the staff argue as the lobster bao is called "Lambay" and tried to tell me I was the one that ordered wrong... Just a mistake however it wasn't handled great. The food was gorgeous, the spiced margarita with the lychee foam one of the best ones I had, but overall experience was a bit tainted and unfortunately I won't be rushing back.

We had a fantastic Sunday roast! The beef was cooked to perfection and the sides were great. Service was on par. Thank you!

Thoroughly enjoyed my first visit to Shaku Maku. Authentic food in a relaxed and very hospitable environment.
