Set in Kansas City’s historic City Market, Brown and Loe Restaurant’s inviting atmosphere is a blend of “big city” bistro with the welcoming casual flavor of a neighborhood favorite. Housed in a former Merchant’s Bank constructed in 1920, the restaurant honors the architectural details of the two-story building which features a façade of plate glass and verde marble floors and walls. In the 1940’s, Brown and Loe was originally a produce broker with offices on the second floor of the Merchant’s Bank building.     I hadn’t been to Westside Local for brunch in years and I have no idea why I stopped! I had the most amazing pumpkin French toast with cinnamon whipped cream that both I and my toddler loved. Staff was wonderful! Overall, an awesome experience.

    One of our favorite go to fun spot in KC. Scott and his staff never disappoint. This holiday pop up is festive with cocktails and food offerings to match. Our favorites this visit are the Latitude 66°30' cocktail and the Winter Fruit Bread Pudding. Don’t miss spending some of you Holiday Celebrations here!

    Pierpont's has been a favorite restaurant of mine for years. I don't go as often as I would like, but when I do, the quality of the food and service are always consistent and exceptional. In addtion, it is located in Kansas City's iconic Union Station. It is a wonderful restaurant for special occasions, but fun just for a happy hour, too. If you have not tried Pierpont's at Union Station, don't wait, it is a wonderful dining experience.

    Enjoyed brunch, food was tasty. I appreciate that every part of the meal was good. Usually when you eat brunch there is something that may trun out subpar but this brunch was not. This is one of the few if any restaurants in the area that serve freshly squeezed OJ which I was excited about. Service was good but a little slow.
