It is in within easy distance from the towns of East Grinstead and Haywards Heath and only 25 minutes from Gatwick Airport. The Pub with its oak beams and two inglenook fireplaces proffers a warm and cosy atmosphere in the winter, whilst our terrace is perfect to enjoy a drink and food in the summer months. Food was good quality. Bar staff helpful. One of the table staff was very efficient but the other lacked experience and got part of our order wrong, which was only partially rectified. Quite expensive overall. Menu wasn't as extensive as shown online.

The steak was excellent, very tender. Disappointing that that fishmonger hadn't turned up so there was very little fish on the menu. Plenty of gluten free options too.

We had a very nice meal and good service, however we all felt very cold and asked for a nearby electric radiator to be turned on, which was done immediately without any fuss.

Food and service is excellent. Very friendly and the Hanger Steak is a superb dish. Incredibly tasty. Cheeseboard - solid choices of cheese. The Afogato with homemade donuts was a great twist. Definitely recommend.
