The Braybrook Hotel is situated on Ballarat Rd in Braybrook and has recently undergone an extensive renovation, engaging all sections of the hotel creating a fresh and modern look, while also retaining a link to its rich history from the mid 1800’s. Only 20 minutes from the Melbourne CBD the Braybrook Hotel has plenty of off street parking and offers a range of award winning facilities. The first Braybrook Hotel is thought to have been erected around 1854, possibly in response to the demand from travellers to the gold fields. However, the earliest rate record found for this building was in 1863-4 when Charles Niven Young was the licensee and John Lang was the owner. We have a 22 seater SUSHI TRAIN open Wednesday to Sunday lunches 12 - 3pm and Wednesday to Saturday Dinners 5 - 8pm it includes an EXPRESS train which delivers hot food ordered via a tablet.     We had a truly lovely lunch at GK today. The food was all delicious and the service from Laura and her team was warm and friendly. My mother had the Barramundi, which was cooked to perfection, my nephew had the kids Chicken strips raved about his crispy potatoes and my niece enjoyed ordering off the Tapas menu, devouring Beef brisket tacos, Charred corn & mozzarella croquettes and some shared meatballs. Every dish was so tasty and fast to come out (which was great as the kids are always impatient for food!) This restaurant is definitely a new favourite!

    A great local bistro Went for my sons birthday Between the table we ordered Garlic Bread Chicken Parmas (Texan,Mexican& Standard) Chicken with mustard sauce Salt & Pepper Calamari No complaints here everyone went away with a full stomach Depending on the time it can be busy So you need to be patient But it's definitely worth while Staff are wonderful and very pleasant We have been back since and this bistro is now becoming our go too place for dinner I love supporting local
