- MMarkGreater Boston •2 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoHad high expectations and arrived early, which the restaurant was able to accommodate. The service staff was friendly and attentive, but the drink service was disappointingly slow. Our first round took 15 minutes, and we ended up canceling our after-dinner drinks because the wait was too long. The food was good, but not great. Overall, a decent experience, but the slow drink service took away from it.More infoThe Roscommon Room at Ocean Edge ResortPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Brewster•4.2
- JJonathanGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI can't say enough about our Valentine's Day experience. Everything was perfect. Absolutely worth even more than what we paid. It's a beautiful view; being right on the beach. We went right during "golden hour" and all the colors were spectacular. See? I haven't even gotten to the food! Our meal started with a lovely complimentary "toast" for Valentine's Day. Then we had warm bread and a butternut lobster bisque to die for. Then my wife enjoyed a lovely cold meal served in this absolutely beautiful bowl/plate that was so beautiful and original. My "Land and Sea" couldn't have been better. The shrimp was nice and poppy, asparagus crisp, and the sauces were excellent. But the steak, whew, the steak was absolutely incredible. I seriously cannot say enough about it. Cooked perfectly, it just melted in my mouth. I swear it was the best steak I've ever had. Lastly our desserts were beautifully presented to us. I had an eggnog creme brulee, with fruits and cornbread atop. Extraordinary. My wife had a chocolate lava cake with blood orange sherbet. They also went a bit further with hers and even wrote Happy Valentine's Day on the plate in chocolate sauce. Chef's kiss. Lastly the service was impeccable. The door was opened for us right away, and from there it only got better. Our waitress, Kristen, was super friendly, had some great suggestions and made sure that our drinks were never even less than 1/4 full. Why are you still reading? Get going! Seriously, this place is a "must go".More infoThe Rooftop at Pelham House ResortPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Dennis Port•4.7
