Clark and Schwenk, friends over the years, discussed starting a place of their own and traded ideas over what the menu would be like. Finally, at the beginning of 2007, they felt ready to strike out on their own and made that vision happen. “I looked around Atlanta and saw a need for a really good old-school restaurant,” Clark says. That restaurant would become C&S Oyster Bar, specializing in classic New York and Paris brasserie-style cuisine. Clark possesses a passion for French cuisine and claims that it comes from the French’s appreciation for balance. Their focus on vegetables, fish, and meat as the primary vehicles of flavor allow for emphasis to be placed on the freshness of the ingredients. Proper attire required.     This was my last day coming to Atlanta and I’m so glad I chose this restaurant to end the night with I ordered the farm house burger. It was so good from a rate from 1-15 I would say it’s a 11. I say that because I put fried hard egg on it. Now I have to come back and try again and more . The service was really good. I will comeback.

    Brandon was an excellent server. He was training another server and his attention to both ensuring a quality customer experience as well as an effective employee training was apparent. The salmon was fantastic, and the spinach + artichoke dip was a great start. If you’re around during the holidays, ask about the off menu egg nog cocktail!

    This was an AMAZING brunch experience. It was so much fun, the food was AWESOME, and the portions were large enough for me and my guest to both have food to take home. The show was so captivating and it was worth every single penny! Will be bringing my friends back for brunch and another time for dinner.

    Grana is great spot for gatherings, dinners, special occasions, etc. we had a fantastic time celebrating. The service was great, food was delicious, and they did a great job at respecting my surprise request! Will definitely be going back and highly recommend!
