Max Lager's was one of the first restaurants to bring the fresh and natural wood-fired menu concept to Atlanta. The art of cooking with wood enhances the Max Lager's experience with bold flavors simply not found with alternative cooking methods. We feel that the investment made in the wood-fired grill is an investment that pays great dividends to our guests. All Max Lager's menu items are prepared daily from scratch. Wood-fired steaks, burgers, seafood, ribs, and pizza are Max Lager's signature items. An inspired selection of entrée salads and pastas add variety to the American menu.

Brandon was an excellent server. He was training another server and his attention to both ensuring a quality customer experience as well as an effective employee training was apparent. The salmon was fantastic, and the spinach + artichoke dip was a great start. If you’re around during the holidays, ask about the off menu egg nog cocktail!

I have always loved Sweet Auburn, and my recent visit to celebrate my birthday was no exception. As always, the food was delicious, and the bartender crafted some super tasty cocktails. But on this particular occasion, I had the unique opportunity to meet one of the owners (Anita). I mentioned I was there for my birthday, and next thing I know, I get a surprise banana pudding for dessert - candle and all! My server (Diamond) also shined (no pun intended). She was knowledgeable about the menu, conversational, and friendly. My visit was more than just a delicious meal, it was a wonderful experience. Precisely what you dine-in for! Looking forward to my next visit!

Fabulous in every aspect - best spot I dined at while in Atlanta for five days for a conference - so much so I went twice! Walkable from downtown core which is near to many hotels and part of a Michelin key recognized heritage hotel. Should be on your dining radar if you care about the food you eat and are looking for a great affordable place to go .
