Best Lunch Restaurants in Southeast Nashville

Epice was amazing. One of the best meals we have had out in Nashville in quite some time. The flavors were sublimely done and the meal expertly paired together. Everything - from the Olive Oil Martini to the uniqueness of the Arnabeet (who knew beets could make an engaging and enlightening tahini?) to the Lahm meatballs and the Mishwe tenderloins to the noble but Simple Rice Pudding for dessert - it was all a couple of lovebirds could ask for in a slightly delayed Valentine's Supper. Pro Tip - always sit at the bar and enjoy the great service and biggest smiles from your bartender at Epice!

Our brunch was amazing - great food, a very attentive server (in the best way), and friendly staff all the way around.

This is our 2nd visit as 1st was after it was newly opened & sat in bar. We went on Valentines seated at a nice table. The combination of tables & cozy booths make for a more private experience along with the calm lighting throughout the space. While very busy the staff was amazing & quickly seated every guests. Also multiple members greeted us during our dinner & all were friendly & efficient. Our food was great with a perfectly cooked crab cake for me & my husband was very happy with his salmon dinner. The bar is a happening place with a couple of TV’s & a tall liquor wall. We are delighted to find this new option to the Brentwood area as we also love the sister restaurant Germantown Cafe downtown Nashville yet Karrington is much more convenient. We will be a regular even driving from Nolensville. Note: Our server was delightful & truly seemed to enjoy her job!

Making reservations for a time we wanted was easy. Everything we ordered was great! We started with an expresso martini and a local beer and pretzels with the cheese fondue. Then dinner was the short ribs with potatoes au gratin with the mac and cheese. Dessert was the bread pudding and the molten lava butter cake with toffee bits. Yes, we ordered two desserts because we couldn’t decide.

We had a wonderful experience. There were 7 in our group. At Ryan’s recommendation we all tried the She Crab Bisque, and we all agreed it was delicious; the best we have had!! Highly recommend it. Ryan, our server was attentive and provided excellent service.
