Best Restaurants for Birthdays in Delmar

I woke up this morning missing the experience of the night before. From my super tasty mocktail, the excellent and exciting flavor and feel of the champagne sorbet on my salty oysters, and every single bite that followed (beet salad with pickled onions, perfectly cooked, juicy surf and turf with crispy potato gratin) were marvelous. Finishing off the meal with chocolate crème brûlée...you can understand why I woke up wistful about the experience and eager to go go back for more soon!

Overall, the bill was excellent. The ambience was incredible. The service was well developed and executed outstandingly. The only problem was it was Valentine’s Day and they did not have enough staff. We ended up waiting a half an hour for food and it was so unacceptable. I was gonna get dessert, but then I was just like it’s time to go and they asked me if I wanted to go, but I was just ready to be gone from that place but overall I had a wonderful time. I just wish the wait staff had more staff on being that it was Valentine’s Day.

Best cowboy steak ever! It seems like it is slowly slowly cooked and it’s not salty at taste!! Perfect taste and sides. Extremely pricey restaurant for a good reason. Highly recommend this Albany 677 Prime Restaurant.

Las Margaritas in Slingerlands, NY never disappoints. I have been there three times now and each time was for a special occasion. Each time, the service was quick, friendly, and enjoyable. The food is never disappointing and those who were with us each time were so happy with everything. They are also very family friendly. The meals are always large, and the menu is huge. Our vegan friends have also been very satisfied with their menu. Can't wait to go again. A shout out to Nadeem, our waiter who was did everything to make our evening special.

The ambiance and food are always great here - not the issue. The service is book or busy, and this visit was more of a bust. The server was likely on the newer side, but was clearer not trained in the art of customer service. Lack of communication, not checking in to see if we needed anything (had to flag him down to get more drinks, nothing after our dinner was delivered), and no birthday acknowledgment even though my reservation called it out and I told him before the birthday girl arrived. Will be back, but hopefully a friendlier server.
