Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Sunset District

We love the whole package of food, location, ambiance, vibe! After eating here a few times, I'm looking forward to a fresh spring menu, though everything we've had has been delicious. Highly recommend the burrata appetizer, every one of the salads, and the seared fish. Fabulous!

Rapid, happy, and friendly service; delicious and smooth presentation of drinks and food; delicious spaghetti all vongole and a seafood soup; interesting wines by the glass. Very noisy because it's very lively in there! Reservations a must. Really a hot table on a Saturday night with a line out the door for walk ups. $130 for two with wines, apps, and mains but no dessert. Happy to go back anytime.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. The food is wonderful, the service is friendly and attentive but not intrusive. The background music is peaceful and appropriate for a calm, enjoyable meal with conversation to take place.

We truly enjoyed the small room with the jazz music. It is like having your own private event. Food was great too.

The pasta class was an awesome experience! We learned how to hand knead artisanal flour and make 4 types of hand-pressed and 4 types of filled pasta while learning the history/background for each. They showed us the machines they use to make their extruded pasta and freely answered all our questions. Beverages and fresh rosemary shortbread were available throughout the 3.5 hour class. After we finished making our pasta we got to observe them being prepared into the dishes we dined on afterward. Our teachers were very knowledgeable and helpful. I definitely recommend
