Always enjoyed our visits to Goat and Vine. This visit was no exception. However, there is one concern I have. Both my wife and I had pasta. Their menu indicates if you buy any of the Pasta Dishes, you can get a Pasta Dish to take home. We have always enjoyed this promotion, but not the main reason to go there. When we got home, I took the Free Pasta to take home out of the bag, and Goat and Vine has gotten CHEAP on thier promotion. I had the Lasagna, and my wife had the spaghetti. The portion was about a 1/3 portion. In the past, they have given a full portion. So let the diner BEWARE, the Buy One Pasta Get one to take home Promotion is a JOKE. BEWARE if you go to Goat and Vine, and don't get sucked into their Promotion that they are skimping on. SHAME ON YOU Goat and Vine, not a good way to build a business.

We chose here for Valentine’s dinner. Pulling up it was complimentary Valet park only. Very friendly and efficient. We had a 6:30 reservation and were seated within 15 minutes in spite bustling crowd waiting. Matt C was our server. He was fabulous! Informed us of the specials, answered questions, and made recommendations. He said to take our time and enjoy our experience! He guided me through drink and entree choices based on my liking. The Calamity Jane and Papardelle were fantastic and the chicken parmigiana impressive! We were never hurried. We saw huge cake pieces for desert but opted for gelato. Matt let us sample the cannoli too! An excellent evening, even though it was pretty loud with the crowd. The valet men were friendly and efficient. We will be back! Thank you for a great time!

Was Valentines day and too my wife, her widowed sister, and her friend. The Landing did a set menu for the special day. Shared app, soup or salad, your choice of steak or sword fish, and a shared dessert per couple. Overall the food was very good. Having live near Lockport and attending HS there I am always interested in the old structures. The atmosphere of the old historic building and great food made for a wonderful experience. My only 2 criticism would be the price of drinks are on the high side and would like to have had 2 apps.

Great staff including servers with personality, genuine care and a water guy that filled my glass more frequently than anyone in my many years eating out. My wife and I loved the environment as well, warm feel and solid selection of dinner music.

My husband and I went here for Valentine's Day. We happen to go about a year ago to Juliet's and was amazingly surprised at the restaurant, quality of food (real Chef), wait staff. It would be something you would find at an expensive, costly Chicago restaurant by far. The price of the food and drinks are also reasonable. Parking is easy too. Being a Joliet native and familiar with these surroundings, it is quite safe to be down there, as some people are not native and hear Joliet east side and think it is unsafe. It's near the Rialto Theatre. A must in my opinion!
