I started in my grandfather’s restaurant & worked my way up to running one of the most successful restaurants in NYC - Patsy’s Italian Restaurant. My grandfather worked his way up in the restaurant industry in the 1930's and '40s and in 1942 opened his first Italian restaurant, The Sorrento. When it came time to name our new restaurant, we decided on IL Sorrento in honor of my grandfather. I know my grandparents & my mom are smiling down on us with approval. Very cute establishment! Not only is it woman-owned, but it sources its bakery items from other local women-owned businesses. The setting was adorable, the pastries were delicious, and the prices were reasonable (given the generous amount of food you receive with the Deluxe Tea package). As for parking, it couldn’t be easier, with a public garage right across the street! According to their website, they host events— it would be so cute for a little girl’s birthday or even a bridal/ baby shower 💕
