- JJenniferDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoI had the best night ever. I went to dinner to celebrate my 42nd Birthday (11/24). Our service was amazing. The food was AMAZING 20 out of 10. The drinks were amazing. My favorite drink is the “Woodward”. 10 out of 10 I highly recommend. We also ordered the Smoked Old Fashion, La Vita Sangria and the Viola Lemonade. Every single drink taste good and was strong( Not to strong but will get you there). Whoever the bartender is, they did their big one. I ordered the Chicken Piccata. This food was so good. It was hot, fresh and it had amazing flavor. My friends and I did meet the own of the resturant. He was so sweet and so down to earth and amazing. He took all our pictures. He showed us where the best places were in the restaurant to take photos. He also gave us complimentary “Birthday Shots”. This is one of the best dining experiences I have had in a restaurant in the city in a very long time. I am already making plan to dine again soon. Also, the staff let us know that the holiday drink menu will be released soon. There are a few drinks I must try on that menu as well. . Please make sure you try this restaurant asap.More infoLa Dolce Vita - DetroitPrice: Expensive• Italian• Detroit•4.2
- RRichardSan Antonio •25 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoThe food and service at Oak and Reel is excellent. They had plenty of options for us. We have some allergy challenges, so it was refreshing that the waiter had so much information regarding the ingredients. My wife had an Orata dish and I had pasta with calamari, lobster, and mussels. It was all delicious.More infoOak & ReelPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Detroit•4.8

- SSteveDetroit / Eastern Michigan •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy comment to Dan, our excellent server, was that the food was "mind-blowing". Might sound a bit hyper but it's not. The flavors in each dish were delightful - really interesting and satisfying. We had two menu items and two specials between us, plus a made-in-house ginger beer and a novel (to me) Alpena, MI stout. Perfect. No desserts - we'll do that next time. We went for a late lunch and it was fairly quiet - but the layout and table spacing is such that you'd have a great experience even when it's full. The ambience is nice and the staff are fun. It's right next to the Detroit Institute of Arts and street parking was good - but there are parking structures nearby too. Also, the Q-Line tram goes right by on Woodward Avenue. The menu is so interesting that we have no choice but to go back!More infoChartreuse Kitchen & CocktailsPrice: Expensive• American• Detroit•4.8
- MMicahDetroit / Eastern Michigan •1 review4.0Dined on 4 Nov 2024Our server, JB was so nice. She gave great recommendations; she was so down to earth and attentive. The food was outstanding and the portion sizes were generous. The atmosphere was relaxed, but they could probably use warmer lighting. The drinks were just okay for the price. I would visit again, especially for carry out.More infoSavoy RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Steak• Grosse Pointe•4.1
