Best Brunch Restaurants in North Highlands

Had a party of five for Valentine’s evening. Restaurant was busy but service was outstanding. Ordered the empanadas & trio dip to start. All were delicious and had that homemade taste- not over-seasoned/ salted like many other restaurants do. Entree portions were generous & easily split without feeling like you didn’t get enough to eat. The center cut filet came out a bit undercooked to preference but our server promptly took it back & brought the plate out with properly cooked steak with new sides also. We appreciated the attentiveness of the wait staff. Cocktails were great and the butter cake was a yummy dessert to share. Highly recommended this place & look forward to trying more of their menu items on a return visit!

Still my favorite eats in Sac. Valentine’s meal was amazing. My wife and I will always return and bring friends and visitors because we trust Canon. My only request is please get some non alcohol beer. Literally the biggest trend in food and beverage right now, everyone has great ones… and $8 bitter sodas are just not where it’s at. Normalize more non alcohol options!

Valentine’s Day dinner. 615 reservations. Arrived at 545 to have a drink in the bar first. Checked in was told they could seat us in the area we selected but we were early so needed to wait. Bar was flooded with patrons but the hostess checked and a table was just getting cleaned so we got our requested table at 600. Jennifer was prompt with our waters and drinks. She was super busy but provided excellent service. The Special menu was a little pricey but the Lobster was great as was the prime rib. Polished it off with Strawberry shortcake for dessert. Jennifer was helpful with aperitif drink selection and quick to clear table of empty plates. Overall probably the best dinner experience we’ve had in quite awhile. Our compliments to the entire staff. Thanks.

Very nice and classy place. The service is always quick. If you stop and look around. The waiters will quickly come and ask if you need anything. The food is a bit pricey. I ordered the rib eye cap. It was smaller than I imagined. The cut was great but on smaller side. Overall we've are return customers. Happy this place is in Sac

We always coming here for a wonderful food experience. Last night the menu was really updated to a number of new dishes and we enjoyed everything that was served. A really fantastic restaurant experience. Can’t wait for the courtyard to re-open when the temperature allows! Thanks, David Dellinger
