Liberty Kitchen at The Treehouse located in Memorial City, joins the neighborhood as a local restaurant serving modern, American food. Diners can see our chefs as they work the open flames cooking steaks, chops, ribs and fish. The inclusion of the grill has greatly influenced the menu – dishes made in cast iron Dutch ovens and an international selection of craveable Southern Coastal cuisine. The food is bold in flavor and rich in textured layering with a twist on tradition, the flickering flames lend a pleasant invitation to settle in to the space, relax and quite simply, eat. Some of the favorite Liberty Kitchen staples are on offer such as the Creole Whole Crab, Shrimp and Andouille Gumbo, R&D Test Kitchen: Infamous Burger Bowl, Deviled Eggs and Lance’s Loaded Hushpuppies (The Real Original) served Liberty Kitchen gorilla-style. Daily Chef Special’s are not to be missed.

Bienvenidos, y'all!Inspired by long days on the Gulf, late nights on the ranch and the colorful creations of our abuela, our family's Kitchen & Cantina showcases the rich foods and traditions we grew up with on both sides of the border.Nothing matches the flavor of food grilled over mesquite. Try wood-fired Texas quail swaddled in homemade tortillas, jalapeno rellanos stuffed with house-made chorizo and sizzling, family-style parrilladas - huge mixed platters of wild game and fresh vegetables, topped with pico de gallo and queso fresco - a unique spin on Houston barbeque. Our days begin roasting chilies and tomatoes, rolling fresh tortillas in our bakery and wringing every last drop of Ruby Red grapefruit for cocktails. We hand-grind our own sausage and hand-trim every ounce of meat in our butchery, then anoint it with the savory seasonings and marinades we've honed over generations.A few margaritas on our patio and you've found your new casa sweet casa.

Wow! Great dinner here tonight. Jonathan’s is known for their steak and Italian, which has always been solid. But I’m trying to eat light before the holidays and ordered sea bass. It did not disappoint! My friend went for piccata but requested to sub with shrimp. They accommodated our requests and the food really was exceptional. Don’t miss the chocolate cake that was bleeding chocolate. So nice. Our server, Eduardo, was the best. The GM, Sam Levine, is on top of things ensuring that all is running smoothly. I will be back. So glad this place is in the neighborhood.

We like RL. We try to go once a month or so but its been longer than that this yr. Anyway, we had a fun day at SH Race Track for Derby Day. And we chose RL for our dinner. We shared a bottle of Riesling which we rarely order. It was good, refreshing, and cool after a long warm day. The food is always good. Service was good. We are not a fan of nose piercings so hopefully kids grow out of that quickly. We had an enjoyable evening.
