Love this spot for drinks and outdoor dining. First time visiting on a holiday. Fabulous Thanksgiving buffet. Very organized, many side dish items, great table service and nice ambiance. Highly recommended. First experience of a buffet for the holidays and could not have been more impressed. Will definitely return next year.

I hate when restaurants charge a service fee, I feel like that takes away the tip from the servers. I requested to be sat next to the clear windows over looking the ledge and we were not sat there. But besides that, it was a great experience.

The House on the River is my “go to” for Sunday brunch prior to a show at Broward Performing Arts. This was my second visit and I am already looking forward to returning with my granddaughter in December! The food and drinks are delicious. The ambiance—both inside and outside seating—is stellar. Our waiter—“Sam”—was thoughtful and made sure we got to our show on time. A wonderful spot on the river that has old school charm with classic brunch fare beautifully prepared.
