After entering, the staff member who greeted us noted that we would require a change in seating due to mobility and swiftly made the change without any fuss or making us feel like a problem. From the minute we were shown to our table, the staff were friendly but so professional and were there when needed, but never hovering. The food was on another level but not at all over priced. The whole feeling of the meal was more than we had expected and we can't wait to come back again. What a special meal, place, and staff.More infoThe Tartan Fox by Adam HandlingPrice: Expensive• British• Newquay•4.8
- SStewartIsles of Scilly •5 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe always try to have dinner at The Longstore when we are in Charlestown. The food is excellent and for the quality excellent value. Our server on our visit on Valetine's night was very good, very pleasant with just the right level of interaction. We have never disappointed with any of our visits to the Longstore and therefore are happy to recommend.More infoThe Longstore, CharlestownPrice: Moderate• Steakhouse• St Austell•4.6

- NNigelLondon •11 reviews5.0Dined on 9 Feb 2025Second visit. First time having 6 courses (Sunday lunch service). All round excellent. The small kitchen is busy, industrious yet calm, efficient and creative. Front of house - Kate and Grace on this particular occasion - friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and super efficient. It’s pointless recounting what we had, because everything changes all the time. Just go with an open mind and prepare to enjoy everything that’s put in front of you. One piece of advice: always have the bread and, if you can and do drink, always have the exquisitely curated drinks pairing, the “flight”. This is Exeter’s (St. Leonard’s) genuine little gem. Long May it go from strength to strength. Sustainable, local, innovative, deliciously delightful.More infoStagePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Exeter•4.9
