Welcome to The Elephant Restaurant The Elephant is a bright, informal restaurant which is situated near the beautiful Torbay harbour.     First time visit to this local pub / restaurant and we felt lucky getting a table as we only booked it today. . Beautiful old building and friendly greeting upon arrival. Shown to our table in the busy restaurant and service was very good. Friendly staff and fantastic food. Everything appeared to be homemade which was really lovely. This place delivered! Only negative was we were seated upstairs near the corridor where the door is so it was cold. Apart from that it was excellent and we will return.

    I take my mother here for her birthday every year for the tasting menu and we are never disappointed. The food is exceptional and the flavours are so carefully considered. The wines are beautiful and the knowledge the staff have about the food and wine is exemplary.

    Fab service today from Amy and the team. We were running very late due to heavy traffic but they were very accommodating. Unfortunately they had run out of fresh fish by the time we got there (their delivery was less than usual for some reason) however Amy gave us a complimentary drink each to compensate, which we didn't ask for but was gratefully received. We will definitely return next time we visit our in Exeter Uni. Thanks Team Harry's - you're amazing!

    Visited a number of times and always found it a pleasant experience. Today it was crowded, so a little noisy, but you can’t blame the restaurant for that. All-in-all, highly recommended.
