Hawksmoor Seven Dials – Steak, Seafood & Cocktails in Covent Garden.Tucked away in a former brewery just off Seven Dials, Hawksmoor is the spot for seriously good steak, seafood, and cocktails right in the heart of Covent Garden. Whether you’re settling in for a long lunch, grabbing a bite before or after the theatre, or just fancy a perfectly chilled martini at the bar, it’s the kind of place that feels special without being stuffy. The menu is all about top-quality British produce—grass-fed native-breed beef cooked over charcoal, sustainable seafood, and proper seasonal sides. And if you’re around on a Sunday, the roast is not to be missed: dry-aged beef, crispy beef-dripping roast potatoes, and ginormous Yorkshire puddings. Basically, great food, good people, and a place you’ll want to come back to.

Super attentive service. We were on a time limit as going to the theatre and managed to eat three courses in an hour and 15 which was brilliant! They kindly swapped my fries for sweet potato. Food was delicious and perfectly cooked. I really enjoyed the ambiance. A very enjoyable dining experience all round.

It was great to see Clifton buzzing when we came over for a late meal om Sunday - service was excellent but the food needs a bit of improvement to for example justify the most expensive item on the menu - 25 quid for a small piece of plaice that was a bit too oily but fish and chips were decent and cauliflower special was actually pretty solid so the chef clearly knows how to make good food. All in all - great to see our local pub being on the right track. And - the service was great even though you could tell that all the staff were exhausted when we came at 4pm. Thank you!
