Best Restaurants for Afternoon Tea in Bermondsey

This place was suggested by a friend and it did not disappoint. From the lobby, to the waiting area to the table. We were lucky enough to be seated at a window. All of the food at the afternoon tea was exceptional. Our waiter Diego did an excellent job of recommending champagne and tea. The price was well worth the money, 10/10 recommend.

A truly five star experience! Staff were flawless, the afternoon tea was a delight; the sandwiches and pastries were very good. We didn’t realise one could ask for more sandwiches, otherwise we would have attended with more of an appetite! Coffee (decaf available) was offered as an alternative to tea which was appreciated.

Great staff support really kind and helpful. I found from my last visit a few years ago the afternoon high Tea was not as I expected in terms of the food selection- open table doesn’t advise what’s included especially that free top ups finish at 4pm ! I found that the drinks option was limited as they only offer rose lassi and chai in the past I had a choice with many other options for the savoury selection - I found the food was good but the selection on the menu could have been more as they only offered fish pakora would have loved an onion or veg pakora Great helpful staff

Super venue for post theatre (Bridge Theatre) supper following a matinee. The ambience and service were super.

Very nice afternoon tea, scones were particularly good. The choice of an alcoholic or non-alcoholic cocktail was a nice touch. Staff were very attentive and friendly.
