Best Authentic Restaurants in Paddington

A great find behind the very busy Edgware Road. A small, quaint basic restaurant, but the food was authentic. It was constantly busy, so I am presuming it is testimony to the quality of the food. When I arrived (5.20pm), the restaurant was not open (5.30pm opening). It was raining, and despite me standing outside getting wet, I was a little perturbed that they did not open the door and invite me in - I found that very strange!! Apart from that, the staff were very attentive and sometimes a little too eager to remove our plates, even though we had not finished. I do not like my hot food to be put on cold plates, a little aggravating, but something that should be addressed.

We came here for valentine's and had the set menu, every dish was so good, well presented and full of flavour. The staff were extremely nice and helpful and put a custom valentines message on my girlfriend dessert 🥰 10/10 We will be doing a food blog on IG and Tiktok tomorrow: Nishandmarv ✨

Really hot tasty food. Excellent service and very attentive staff

Very interesting starters - we had the cauliflower and brockli and felt we were getting two of our five! Curries delicious. Very nice service. We were getting a train from Paddington and was a perfect distance for us to have a good meal and then catch the train.

This is very much a fast food outlet and not a 'Greek experience'. That said, the staff on hand were pleasant and attentive and the food was fresh and tasty. Two of us ate as much as we could manage for less than £30 with beer.
