We began in 1964. It was the time of the Beatles and Rolling Stones and an air of great fun. Anything seemed possible, it was the Sixties! A really different approach to serving Italian food with sharing plates - the amounts in each plate are sufficient to share and overall with about 5-6 plates there is more than enough. The advantage is you enjoy a wide choice of different plates which is good as the food is prepared and cooked to perfection. Octopus, ravioli and ox cheek all delicious and calamari fresh and delicate. The "ice cream" tastes like proper Italian gelato. Despite the fact they were full the evening we were there the service was attentive and efficient without hovering. They were friendly and very helpful.

Great choice for our lunch with old friends. Very good food (the set menu, which had just the right amount of choice and included a glass of wine), excellent value, quiet (important for us), and welcoming, helpful staff who showed the perfect balance between looking after us and leaving us alone. Plus they allowed us to linger a little after what should have been closing time!
