Best Restaurants for Outdoor Dining in Waterloo

Food was good, service was quick but it was very loud in the restaurant

Need a civilized enclave away from the madness of the West End? If you stick to the set menu at Ham Yard, you'll get reasonable value too. Great staff, good food, gorgeous spacious setting. The drinks are rather overpriced though. There's a dry house white for £13.00 (which I didn't personally like) but anything other than that by the glass is upwards of £23. I think that's too steep, even in today's economy. I'd have liked a medium wine but was not prepared to pay £30 for one glass. Also, the set menu is advertised as being from 12pm to 6pm and 9pm to 10:30pm. We booked for 9.45 but initially were told the set menu wasn't available, although we did have it in the end. The staff were lovely about it, but it seemed a bit off. Having made those few criticisms, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place as a haven from the madding crowd and with the most divine puddings, if your purse can take it....

A restaurant that is all about the food, just basic tables and chairs small but enough tables for groups. The kitchen is viewable. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. However the food was great. I would definitely recommend eating here and I will return.
