Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Spennymoor

Thoroughly enjoyed the cod with crab sauce. The bean & bacon broth was a bit salty for my taste but I suppose that's the bacon. My friend enjoyed her crab, which I've had before (though why crab has to come from Dorset when it's such a local delicacy we don't understand). I do miss the specials that used to be on the board - there was a new fish dish every time I came and all were excellent.

Great meal and service as always. The staff always make you feel very welcome and cannot do enough for you.

Had a great meal, the flat iron steak is delicious and very good price. Everything is beautifully presented, and tastes as good as it looks. The only ever so slight minus was that the chips have changed. We always get the triple cooked chips and they have been in the past exceptionally good, and thick cut. Now they are skinny chips and while very good, not as good as previously. Please bring back the thick cut chips.

Fantastic tasting menu, with locally sourced produces. A real treat, and lovely wine pairing!
