Best Vegan Restaurants in Penshurst

Very nice evening at Essence the staff were very lovely, the setting was beautiful, we had the tasting menu the food was very good, the only area we felt was a shame was the base layer in the sauces with each meal was the same notes in spice etc it would have been nice to have had different tastes throughout the menu but was still very good. The warm greeting when we arrived at the restaurant made us most welcome. We were served quickly and our drinks arrived promptly. The lunch ambience was excellent and the excellent service was complimented by the fantastic Spanish menu choices. The paella was probably one of the best I and my guests have ever eaten even when in Spain. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this Restaurant and the team that served us and I will be returning with my guests many times again. Brilliant choice

A delightful venue for an Afternoon Tea in the heart of Tunbridge Wells. Lovely rooms and the tables are not too close together. All staff welcomed us warmly and were helpful during our visit. A wide variety of teas from which to choose and an extremely tasty selection of both savoury and sweet treats. A thoroughly enjoyable afternoon and we shall certainly be recommending and returning.

Our breakfasts were perfect, tasty and good value. Great location overlooking the Pantiles, with attentive and friendly staff. Good luck over the next few weeks, and hopefully see you in December.
