Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years. Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs. The same menu options are available on both floors. There is no lift upstairs. Re Tasting Menu Timings: At lunch you must book before 1.45pm, and at dinner before 8.45pm. Tasting menus are not available outside of these times.If you cannot find a table, please contact the restaurant team direct as not all tables are available to book online.     Well I’ve wondered for a few years why this was my fiancés favourite restaurant and we finally got to experience it together. Food fantastic. Service excellent. Venue delightful. Don’t debate, go to daphnes for delicious Italian food.

    We had an absolutely fantastic experience at The French Table! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed, setting the tone for an exceptional lunch. The food was delicately prepared and bursting with flavor—every dish was cooked to perfection, and we truly couldn’t ask for more. It was a special occasion—my wife’s birthday—and the team made it even more memorable with their impeccable service and attention to detail. She was beyond happy and completely satisfied with the meal, making it a perfect celebration.
