I had steak & my 93 year old father had trout. Both delicious. It is an old pub with lovely character. Very nicely kept & clearly under good management. Fabulous too to have a fire burning on a chilly March day👌More infoThe Fox at BarringtonPrice: Moderate• Pub• Burford•4.5
- DDamianGloucestershire/Wiltshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe’ve had one of the most memorable evenings at the Swan. Firstly, we were a little bit apprehensive of booking to the monthly quiz, due to our overall low IQ average but when we turned up - we were made feel immediately at home. The food came out in minutes and our demanding children were super happy. Jerry was an entertainer as a host and the quiz itself was super interesting. Edwin who runs the pub looked after us super well! all in all an amazing experience - thank you THYME!!!! I wish we knew all the answers…OUCH Bottom line / I have never been made feel so stupid and at the same time so happy to pay the bill, which was a humble amount for what a pub meal is these days. Coming back ASAP!!!!!! Quality 10/10More infoThe Swan at SouthropPrice: Expensive• British• Lechlade•4.5

- MMathewVIPOxford/Oxfordshire •121 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Feb 2025Charming traditional pub with a proper bar and tables, and a cosy wood-burning stove. High quality ingredients well made into tasty dishes. Tempura prawns were fresh, firm and juicy, and clearly made from scratch in the kitchen. Lamb shank roast with all the trimmings was a great Sunday treat.More infoThe Shilton Rose & CrownPrice: Moderate• Pub• Burford•4.9
