- DDebbieLancashire •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoLovely meal, friendly staff, and a lovely pub Thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the staff were great, the only reason I marked Ambience down was because it was cold. It was a very chilly Febuary day and it would have been lovely to walk into a nice warm pub. We would love to go back and perhaps try the taster menu next time.More infoThe Freemasons at WiswellPrice: Expensive• British• Clitheroe•4.7

Fear not, when the food arrives you realise the quality of the food is on another level. Had a steak and ale pot pie and if its not the best pie I've ever eaten its definitely in the top 3. My Mother had the chicken supreme which was presented beautifully and apparently was excellent. The pub itself is lovely, lighting prefect, service exceptional. There was a fine dining event on later in the evening and was set up in the dining room which is also very tastefully done. With the masterchef winning chef in the kitchen I expected it to be good but it exceeded my expectations.More infoThe Black BullPrice: Moderate• British• Blackburn•4.6

It could easily have fed four people. Lots of vegetable sides and beautifully presented on a sharing board. Service was great all the staff were friendly and helpful. One of our favourite places.More infoArtisan Ribble ValleyPrice: Expensive• Tapas / Small Plates• Blackburn•4.5
