Our staff are notorious for the friendly service, along with the pub being known for it’s homely atmosphere and pure, authentic Punjabi cuisine. If you’re from around Birmingham you would have heard of The Red Cow in Smethwick, it’s a great place to meet up with family and friends, watch sporting events live, and just have a nice relaxing evening with great food. The kitchen staff prepare the cuisine with such love and care that you can taste it!     This was our second visit here and once again very impressed. It was quite busy when we got there and we were concerned service might have been slow but we had no need to worry it was great. One of the party was gluten free eater and they were very accommodating to this need double checking on what was suitable. Food was amazing, staff were fantastic and very reasonable!! Thanks for a great birthday evening (we didn’t divulge that info for fear of my embarrassment)

    Service and food (portions are generous) were excellent. The decor and mood of the restaurant was also very nice. The sweet anniversary treat was a nice touch. Would definitely recommend a visit if you like south asian cuisine.

    The food is exceptional. Michelin star quality in my opinion. The rich flavours and quality of the food sets Itihass head and shoulders above any Indian restaurant you've been to before. This restaurant is a place for special occasions and when you need to treat yourself to something really special.

    Went to Caribbean & Cocktails for my husband's 60th birthday. From the outset we were looked after by our lovely waitress Reme (sorry if wrong). Menu was clear and served pretty quickly. Food portions were plenty & filling. I had the lamb chops, well seasoned and the rice&peas lovely. Hubby had the jerk burger with chips. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Cocktail hour us between 5-7. I had the Zombie . Loved it. I brought a cake for husband's birthday and staff brought it out and sang happy happy with music in background. Was so good. Alsongivdn complimentary drinks & the owner came out to speak to us & other guests to check we was enjoying our experience and comfortable. Venue was beautifully decreasing to reflect the Jamaican ambience. Toilets also clean & maintained. Considering they have only been open for 7 weeks. The whole staff came out and gave us a fantastic time and experience...especially the music choices. Highly recommend and will definitely be going back. Good luck Ricky. Wife and the team.
